Hi All,
Wanted to check with the experts: are all of these fish Jack Dempseys?

The first 2 were found in a tiny, shallow ditch, and were the only fish in it other than mosquitofish.

The rest of these were in a bigger canal/ditch that is loaded with Cichlasoma dimerus. There is about a 20-1 dimerus-to-dempsey ratio in this ditch, so I am wondering if they might have hybridized to make these (I am not sure these 2 species can even hybridize). The coloration and tail markings are different from the classic Jack Dempsey markings of the ones I found in this canal.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Yes, those are Jack Dempseys.
Nothing out of the ordinary as far as markings or coloration so no reason to suppose they are hybrid. And no, CA cichlids cannot hybridize with SA Acaras. At least there is no known case of it happening in aquaria.
