melanochromis joanjohnsonae changing colors?

It's a bit blurry, but looks a bit like Melanochromis joanjohnsonae. Other names you will see on this fish are Labidochromis textilis and Melanochromis exasperatus, with exasperatus considered a synonym. The textilis is slightly different in appearance as sexually mature adults, or so I'm told, but is considerably more rare.

You have been misled. The Melanochromis joanjohnsonae is correct.
