Hi Jake,
I didn't have a clue what you were talking about so I went back and looked for another post you had made. When you read so many posts you forget people and problems quickly lol.
After I read your other post, I remembered posting in it last night but it's not showing up. It was late and I was tired so maybe I forgot to hit "submit" or something lol.
My suggestion was to use your 55g. long that you have tropicals in for cichlids and your shorter 50g. for tropicals and maybe plants. Just switch them around.
Even then you probably shouldn't keep the auratus. They do get mean and need at least a 75g. tank. I also said I think that fish you posted a pic of is an albino peacock of some sort but I could be wrong. I've never had peacocks, just going by pics I've seen.
ABOUT THIS POST... So you've decided to take all the fish back and go with a red devil? Sorry I don't know much of anything about red devils. All I can say is read up on them. Make sure your tank is big enough (I think they get kinda big). Not sure it would need all those rocks in the tank, again read how the tank should be aqua scaped or set up for the red devil. I'd prefer a tank with alot of malawi cichlids or maybe some victorians  but you might like a wet pet like a red devil. Good luck. Hope someone else can tell you more than I can.
