I know hybrids are received differently across the hobby. Sometimes it is inevitable if keeping a mixed breed tank that it will happen. Hybrids to me are intentional mixing of the species to try to generate a desirable trait in the resulting fish. When it happens in a tank unintentionally my definition is not hybrid but rather a mutt. My fish don't leave my tank so I am not overly concerned if this occurs. But every once in a while an interesting specimen results. These are not the best pictures but I think this fish is pretty cool looking. Unfortunately I know one parent was a yellow lab but I am uncertain of the other. Thought I would share.

You should pull him into a new tank, and put any more similar ones into the tank. Most hybrids come out kinda meh though.
