How to tell sex of juvenilles?

Is there a way to know what sex you are buying when you get juvenille's at the LFS?

I bought two fish the other day at PetSmart (I know, I know..), one is an albino something and the other is a Pseudotropheus crabro (Bumblebee). I'd like to buy a few more bumblebee's, but is there a way to tell the sex so I can buy some females if I already have a male?

Not really a practical way. What you can do is buy twice as many fish as you need, wait for them to mature and take them back to the fish store for store credit which can be around 1/3 the selling price of the fish.

Chain pet stores may not give you store credit for fish though, or take them back at all.
