Just wondering if anyone has experience with C.Borleyi and the typical number of fry one can expect from a holding female? One of my females is holding and I expect she'll be releasing soon, so I'm pretty excited! This is my first experience with Fry, so any insight or tips/tricks would also be appreciated.

It depends on a few things. My first spawn was about 35, that was with a female that was about 3".
I have other females now that are about 4-6" and they have spit 50 or so fry.

I have no real tips, I usually let these guys spit in thier own tank and let them go. I am up to my eyeballs in them right now. I have since stopped removing the females.

They grow pretty fast and are not hard fry to rear.
