Righto, i have some saulosi that are breeding at the moment. The female is really really skinny as this is her second lot of fry.. She is getting harassed. I would like to ask how many days i should wait until i strip her and put the eggs in a tumbler.
How long until i should strip and put in tumbler?

a good tumbler can manage eggs from day 1 with most species. most commonly, is to wait until the 2nd week minimum, to assure development has reached wriggler stage.
however, i am an advocate of proper conditioning for breeding females, and would not bother to harvest eggs from a female that is 'really skinny'. HTH.

ok righto.. i stripped her today and the eggs are looking well.Good colouring etc... The female is now eating and is looking better.
