I received 9 1 1/2 inch demonsoni on Friday morning. I ordered 10, but had one DOA.
They are presently in quarantine tank. How long should I keep them there before adding them to my 55 with "mom dem" and her tribe of 8? The "tribe" are about 1 inch now.

I do 3 weeks in quarantine, enough time for ich to develop if it's going to.

I agree, 2 to 3 weeks.. After 2 weeks you should be able to tell if they good to go..

I usually go 2 weeks, but if I have the slightest doubt I hold the quarantine for 3 weeks...or longer.

2 weeks for tank raised, 1 month for wild caught...
