Its very difficult to sex an EBJD so like Flippercon said, you either vent the fish or put them into in with another JD of known sex and see their behavior with one another.

I do have both a male and a female EBJD and the female is smaller with a more torpedo shape than the males I have but I don't if that is the case with all females of just the one I have.
