ok my water has a ph of 8.0 i need to lower the ph to 7 7.5 using ro water .tanks are 20 tall.im housing pelviachromis taeniatus.ph matters for fry male female ratio .any info or links.what would proper procedure be.thanks

If you lower the KH by dilluting with RO, the pH will come down. Take a sample and test it out to get the proper ratio of current tank to RO, and ultimately tap to RO for change water. Cheapest and easiest way, I think.

I use discus buffer, works great.. My water out of the tap is 8.2 and it takes it down to about 6.5 for my RAMS.
