Whoah, slow down. Don't worry about them breeding just yet! How are you going to keep the 10 gallon cool? That little amount of water is going to be subject to much greater temperature variations.
I don't have A/C and during heat waves (incl. >100 deg) I used to freeze blocks of ice over night and add them in the morning, freeze another during the day, and add it in the evening. With increased surface agitation, leaving the lights off and unplugging the heater I haven't lost fish despite my tanks going above 90 degrees.
When your fish are too warm, don't feed them. Just keep the lights off and make sure they are getting enough oxygen.
