If you have a tumbler you can strip her now if you want. If the eggs are white then there not fertile if there a yellow/ orange then there good. I normally let the female hold for a few days before I strip the eggs. If you want you can let the female hold for 18 to 21 days before you strip that way the fry will most likely be free swimming. Most fish will hold anywhere from 21 to 28 days before they spit, that gives you some time. Hope this helps
If you don't think she'll hold then strip her or isolate her in her own tank. Do you have a tumbler? If not you can use a fine mesh stainless steel strainer with a sponge filter under it. Thats what I use with great success. I get a 90 to 95% success rate with that setup.
It depends on how the tumbler is made. If the tumbler has a double screen on the bottom it will be fine to leave it in the main tank. If it only has one screen your best bet is to move it to its own tank with water prams and temp as close to the tank you take the female out of. The reason for that is with a single screen you take a chance of the adults sucking the eggs through the screen. With a double theres a small gap between them and they can't get to the eggs
