Will a female hold eggs that have not been fertilized by a male?
Also I think one of the bengas is a male that hasn't colored up yet because it was housed in a tank with a dominant male. Will this make him color faster or should i strip her to see if he will color up faster?

yes a female will hold unfertilized eggs.. check her mouth if they are pinkish they are fertilized if they are white to grey they are unfertilized.. i dont think stripping a female will have any effect on a males color, if its just him in a species breeder tank his color will come soon enough.
