Hi all:)
I have a very happy healthy red tiger O who is living in a 56 gallon with good water parameters.
He looks fantastic to me. I initially got two O's at the same time, the other I realized had quite a bit of HITH, something I hadnt seen at the LFS. After a couple months it cleared and the almost dehydrated look to his head was replaced with a very full almost plump healthy looking head. This is the same look my Tiger has. If he gets a wound from bouncing around it heals so quickly it amazes me.
I noticed the other day that he has two roundish indents under his chin off the one side, basically on his jaw.
They are very circular. He looks great other than this, but I worried it could be the start of HITH.
I checked the water and Ammonia and nitrites are still at 0. I am running two emperor 400's on his tank, along with an undergravel with a powerhead. I do regular water changes twice weekly but have stepped it up to smaller ones daily as I was concerned.
Nothing has been changed in his tank other than taking out a large ship decor that I was foolish to put in to begin with:)
Any thoughts?

Sorry, I am still new to the hobby, what is JSS?
I will google, but responses are appreciated.
I have not tested for nitrates today, will do in a little bit.
I have been doing daily changes now for almost a week.
Thanks!
Annie
