Articles:Heros severus

Comments:
This fish is often confused with Heros efasciatus. Efasciatus is a substrate spawner and severus is a mouthbrooder. Efasciatus is the fish that most American hobbyists mistakenly call "Severum". Severus is rarely available in the hobby.
