Yes, he's a Green Texas. Probably going to rehome him soon, he is pretty but even just at 5" he is relentless to even the almost 1' pacus growing out there.

Nice Texas you have Joel, just been looking at some at the LFS. I've always wanted to keep one, but the aggressive reputation has always put me off.

You have heard of their reputation correctly! He's been responsible for a few slower fish spending time in a hospital tank. I am slowly converting to Mbuna and now he is in there with 5 Africans who are much too fast for him. As long as you don't have dwarf mbuna I'd say you could keep one with no incident, the mbuna don't see him as conspecific and don't attack and the Texas has learned that there is no use trying to catch them so he just leaves them alone.
