I was just "gifted" a "mixed African Cichlid" by someone who bought if for a community ten gallon full of guppies and was horrified when it began beating them up. I have absolutely no space for it, except for a 1 gallon tank that i was planning to use as a planted tank, for well, plants. He is in there now, being very small, but i have no idea what to do with this fish. I did not want him, but it was this or my friend would flush it. What should i do?

All i have is a petsmart, they wont take back any unwanted fish, only give you a refund for a dead one
