Good Afternoon! I have a female Peacock who I recently had to separate from her other tank mates as she was breeding with another male. I'm not sure what exactly she is. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

First of all, she is not a "Peacock" by any definition.

What is she? Mbuna Zebra type. Impossible to know what precisely, may not even be pure.

You seem to have a pirate infestation.

Yeah, bought her in mixed "Peacock" group. Definitely leaning more towards the Mbuna like you said. She did mate with what appears to be an OB Zebra as well. I've been out of the hobby for almost 20 years, started a 125gallon last winter and now I'm overrun with fry lol. I had to pull the females and put them in a separate tank. I'm looking for anyone in Central Mass that wants free fish. I got Zebras(Female and fry), Maingano(female and fry), Female yellow lab, and a female Blue Dolphin. They are hardy fry and just keep swimming! Thanks for the tip @noki !
