I'm looking for help setting up a new tank for African Cichlids. I've kept tropical community tanks before but I'm looking for more color in the fish.

For the space I have I'm looking at a 90 gal tank. I'd like recommendations about what fixtures I'll need to get a tanks this size set up. I'm not really worried about price - just looking for the best, easiest to maintain set up for the size.

Please let me kjnow your recommendations for filtration, heating, lighting, etc.

Thanks.

I have a 90 gallon.

Lighting: I have a dual 48" flouro I bought from homedepot and I mounted it on the bottom of my canopy. For bulbs Im using 1-10K bulb and 1-420 actinic bulb.

Filtration: I have a Eheim 2217 and a Fluval FX5.

Heater: Im using a inline Hydor ETH-300 and a Hydor hydroset digital thermostat thats inline to my Eheim. Im going to hook it up to my FX5 next week though. I dont think I really need to use the Eheim, plus my tank looks too "busy" with 2 intakes and 2 spraybars.

Substrate: 75lbs. of Leslies pool filter sand

Powerhead: Hydor Koralia evolution 750
