I had a recent change in plans (parents/divorce/ect..) and I have to get rid of a tank :(

Here are the fish that are for SURE staying in the 125:
-2 Oscars
-1 Green Terror
-1 Senegal Bichir

Now, I have a 55 gallon, and I need to figure out where to put these fish:
-2 Angels
-1 German Blue Ram
-1 Green Severum
-1 Gold Severum
-1 Convict

I didn't plan for anything to happen, but sometimes, life sucks. What I was thinking of doing, was moving my Convict and Green Sev to the 125, and leaving the Angels, Nicer Gold Sev, and Ram in the 55, heavily planted.

Work or no?

Your Severums both can grow to about eight inches and a Convict seems to manage with the meanest of fishes so use the planted tank for the Angelfish and the Rams. Severums eventually begin to uproot or chew on most plants. Only a few species have much chance. Anubias have tough leaves and nothing likes to eat Java Fern. Both grow best when tied to wood. Some use thread but I have had good results using black, narrow zip ties of sufficient length to wrap around a branch.

Being caught in a divorce is a pain for everyone concerned. It eventually gets better. Good luck.
