Hi I picked up a pair of bristlenoses a couple of weeks ago one from a decent shop and one that I saved from getting flushed from a closing pet shop. The female has a sunken belly I'm going to worm the tank. she is eating cucumber fine and there are algy wafers going in each night when the lights are off and the room is pitch black. The male is friving. I'm tempted to put her in a breeding pen for a hour or two each evening and feed her in that to try and put some meat on her belly. Is this a bad idea?

Just leave her in the isolated tank until her belly plumps up.
