I'm thinking about buying an XP-1 but I'm concerned about the inside height of my stand. Does anybody have an estimate of the height required to easily use this canister filter. I know the height of the unit is around 10" but I'm concerned about the room required for attaching/detaching the hoses when doing maintainance.
