Hey guys! Its been awhile! I am wondering if anyone has ever used the national geographic heaters? I received one as a gift awhile ago and just now using it. It seems as though its garbage. It turns on, and the light works. Constantly on....but does not seem to be heating at all. Anyone have any experince with this?

May not be big enough to heat the volume of water efficiently.

I have 2 heaters in my setup. I have it set for 80. That side of the tank never gets any warmer than 78.5. I have also turned it up and down to see if it changes at all, and it doesnt. Any other ideas?

Maybe it's a faulty heater or it's just not big enough to heat that volume of water...

what size is your tank???...
what wattage is the heater???...
