Do you think it is possible to croosbreed N. Venustus and M. Estherae?
I have 5 M. estherae in a 75 gallon tank and 1 female venustus. I saw that it is holding yesterday and so confused in figuring out who is the daddy. I think that the daddy would be the male M. Estherae. I am not sure. :-?

well the fact that she is holding doesn't necessarily means that the eggs are fertile.
I don't know much about N. Venustus so I cannot say much about this case.

I think you are right. The Next day after i saw that my venustus is holding, the eggs are all gone in her mouth. Don't know what happened to the eggs. :?
