I just got a jaguar he or she is 7in and is beastly, hates the convict i have in there for some reason lol (all my fish seemed to hate the guy) but yea could u guys give me some hints on how to keep it at their happiest? maybe also some hints on figuring out gender

Are all your fish the same sex? It may explain why they all might hate your convict?

no i don't think so anyways, im positive the convict is male but in the past *** had green terrors with it, mayan now jag and not sure whether to move the convict from the tank and put it with the oscars or not because the jag is super aggressive and hates the convict

IMO don't hesitate. Move the Convict to the Oscar's tank! The Jag will for sure kill the Convict.

male jags are a darn site more colorful and end up being much bigger and a heck load more aggresive. great fish to own tho, my female keeps trying to breed with my male oscar!!!

i moved the convict hes safe but i don't have anything to take pictures with. im positive hes a male hes already got that nice purple coming in. He eats all the time and i put a feeder in there and watched him hunt. He was stalking it and would act like he wasn't paying attention until they would get to close then he would literally rip their heads off hes a great fish and super entertaining
