Hi all

I'm looking for a bit of advice. I currently have a 6ft Peacock/Hap male show tank with 13 fish in it.

One of my moori dolphins sold to me as male is in fact female and getting a lot of unwanted attention.. I've also got a male yellow peacock about 2" who's also getting bullied by my other peacock/haps who range from 4" to 6" and he spends most of his time hiding behind the return pipe at the top...

I've got a spare tank ready to go that I could move them to, it's about 150ltrs/35g 3ft, roughly. Would it be OK with lots of caves etc for the 3" female dolphin and 2" male peacock or would they fight?

Anybody who's had a couple of cichlids in a relatively small tank that can share any experience with me?

Thanks in advance :)
Jason

They will be fine for a couple of days until you can rehome them. A 36" tank would not make a good long-term home, especially for the dolphin.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I thought too.

I've put the male in there to grow him out a bit with a catfish for company. I'll get the dolphin re-homed this week :)
