can jewel cichlids live in mbuna water conditions? i always wanted one,but as much as i know they like different water conditions? or i'm wrong?

jewel cichlids prefer a lower ph than mbuna but can probably adapt to the high ph.

I had Jewels with my Mbuna for a long time, until I tried mixing blue with red. Color dont matter 2 males will battle to the death. Prior to that they did just fine and could handle themselves with Mbuna.. They seemed to adapt to my Ph just fine.

I have a jewel that has flourished with my Mbuna. He always stays near the bottom though.
