don't feed them too much, mom and dad will find them food to eat. over feeding the fry at that age will only spoil your water. with fry at that age you can't just do water change just yet. I don't feed my fry until 2 weeks old. for the mom and dad I feed them pellets. my texas will crush the pellets over the fry, thats the way they feed thier babys.
Green Texas Fry- feeding, care
Our Green Texas fry have been in a separate 80L tank (2' long) with their parents for a few days now and are looking good. I am just wondering how much to feed them? We are feeding them freeze dried krill that have powdered down to consumable size. At the moment I am giving them three feedings throughout the day.
