ok...i think im gonna give into getting a chiller....

but what is on offer is an aquamedic titan 1500 which is good for 600 gallons.

but my tanks is only 150 gallons.....need to pull it down about 6 degrees from 32 to 26 degrees centigrade...24/7

my concerns is running costs and noise from a chiller that is so over specified for my tank.

or would it be a case of bigger is best??

i have the same question. i'm looking at a 1/4hp chiller for my 85 gallon hex. Any ideas on how much it would rase my bill to install one of these that would lower my temp aroud 3 to 6 degrees?
