Hi has anyone had glass shrimp with their cichlids either for tank companions or food?

Depends on the cichlids, perhaps be a tad more specific?

I feed my cichlids ghost shrimp, which I think is the same thing as glass shrimp probably once a month, I rotate that with live brine shrimp and blood worms for a once a week treat. I usually drop in about 8 shrimp per tank and they last a day because they are fast and good hiders but your cichlids will find them and eat them. The great thing about shrimp is they carry no fish disease so they are much better than fedder guppies as live food.

Sorry, i have a mixed tank ,electric yellows,cobues,some peacocks,cobalt blues and newly added convicts (2).I dont know the correct name for these they are just advertised as glass shrimp btw thanks for the replies!

Yes my cichlids made them food.
