This is probably a dumb question, but here goes...

I have multiple tanks but no room for new fry - I need to strip 4 fish tonight. two of these mama's usually have about 40 fry each!

I have a new 20gal long, but want to start fresh with a new sponge filter and new water - would 100 or so very tiny fry crash a new uncycled tank? is there a way I could make it work with daily water changes or something? I use Prime water conditioner which has additives that remove ammonia...

I don't think they'll survive a tank cycle by just using Prime. Take some media from an established filter and tie it to the sponge filter. I think that's your best bet, but fry can be very delicate, so I'm not certain it's going to work out for you. Go ahead and use the Prime also.
