Hey guys my front has a wound on his nose right at his nostral orafice . I put in a lot of new rock on fri night when i did a w.c. and the next morning i noticed a swollen kinda a little reddish spot on his nose . My thought is he ran into a new rock and hurt his nose. Then yesterday sun. it was brighter red and a little more swollen . Then today the blue is all gone and it's an open wound all white and painful looking.I dont think it's ant fungus or anything cause it happened overnight ,What should i do ,w.c. everyday untill it's better ,salt? or medicine? wich id rather not do untill necessary ? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it appears to be a rock cut to me. and it appears to be healing nicely. i would expect it to be completely healed within two weeks with no meds necessary. it happens often with rockwork and frontosa. if you see too much of it, you may need to create more open floor area. HTH.

.......... or use different rock... .such as the ones you find in rivers, so that you don't have sharp edges..

keep in mind that although fronts are majestic fish they tend to be equally clumsy... so they wil crash against the rock work..
