I myself use Dainiche (Mix of Veggie Deluxe, Ultima, Color Max), frozen Brine Shrimp and some Aquadine flakes. I'm honestly just curious as to what everyone else uses. I dont want reviews just wondering what all you Tanganyikan lovers are using.
I've been thinking about hatching live baby brine. I'm fairly confidant my current mix will be ok. I just want something else for the itty bitty guys...lol Im just so use to buying 3 ich fish...not 1.5inch.

I used to mix Dainichi and NLS but I'm going to NLS only now because of availability mainly. Always wanted to try Omega one (The ingredients were alluring). I supplement, as a once a week treat, frozen krill for the bigger fish and cyclops for the little ones and cyps.

I also switched from Hikari first bites for fry after seeing "Prov356" mentioned NLS grow in a coffee grinder in a different post (DUH! SOO much better ingredients and I have literally seen the growth and mortality difference as both went up around %20 in my fry tanks!!)

I think I'll say I like NLS the best (I have always been on the fence with NLS and Dainichi), the fish definitely prefer it but I liked Dainichi for the vitamins and I admit I was swayed by the clay advertising  (The clay is for digestion but, to be honest, I've never had any bloat problems with either of these foods so...), still nothing makes them happier than Krill Day! :D

Hatching brine is such a hassle if you're feeding a modest fishroom (Under 12 tanks) imo. Of course I live 5 miles from the great salt lake and so when I need another 5 lbs. of brine to freeze I take the kids down to the lake and scoop them right out! :)

UK so prob a bit different.
Tropheus and gobie cichlids
New Era Aquaculture Cichlid Pellets African
Tetra Pro Vegetable (kind of wide flake ("Crisps") so claims it does not lose nutrients to the water)
Ocean Nutrition Spirulina Flake
Frozen peas.

Altolamps and Lamps and shellys
Tetra Pro
Tetra Prima
Frozen whole Prawns mashed up. Eggs picked off to give to shellys I particularly want to breed fast.

All fry ZM fry foods and crumbled Tetra Pro "Crisps".
ZM 100 for the smallest then 200 then 300 then you guessed it 400 :)
Have tried NLS and Dainichi and Hikari but I have to pay for those, as they gave me nothing extra I could see, I keep going back to the stuff given to me free.

You guessed it. No live food.

All the best James

New Spectrum all the time but I hatch Brine Shrimp for new fry for a couple of weeks.
I buy a pound of eggs at a time when I am in Utah visiting my sister (Brine Shrimp Direct in Ogden, Utah).

I use to use Omega One when i first got into keeping fish and when i switched to Dainichi ill never go back. Omega One always seemed to leave lots of debris and cloudiness in the water. Fish loved it but after i switched to Dainichi, the color in my fish improved drastically.
