Hi all,

I am very close to having a Saulosi species tank and have also the chance to buy Northfin and NLS at a discounted cost.

The two I believe are good for Saulosi are Northfin Vegie or NLS Cichlid Mix both get good reviews but is there one that stands out?

I feed Northfin Veggie in my mbuna tank. I used New Life Spectrum UltraRED for a time but preferred the Northfin.

I feed both Northfin Cichlid Formula or NLS Cichlid Formula...no particular stand out between them. Beware discounted food...better to get a guarantee of freshness and also that the container has inside the real product. Once I bought a gallon of NLS 1mm pellets from a small business vendor and I swear what was inside was NLS Grow.

Remember contents can be switched and put inside a package with a new date. Buy from a vendor that will have very high turnover of product to get fresh food...especially if you buy a gallon bucket like I do.
