Question all...I am fishless cycling and it is typically taking 48 hours instead of 24 to get my nitrites back to 0. I do have nitrates showing. I don't think I'm cycled yes so should I keep adding the ammonia until I get the 24 drop back in nitrites to zero? My ph is stable at 8.0, and I'm dosing 2ppm of ammonia as per the instructions of the fishless cycle ammonia that I'm using (Dr. Tim's). I've been cycling for about 28 days now. Can I proceed with adding fish the next time the nitrites hit 0 or do I keep adding the ammonia until I see a reading of 0 ammonia AND nitrites 24 hours later?

Keep doing the cycling process...wait until ammonia AND nitrites are zero for several days. Allow six weeks.
