I have a Golden Gourami Trichogaster trichopterus (yes I know its not a Cichlid)
that I think has "Fish TB".
:-? Does anyone have the unfortunate experience in dealing with this disease?
If so, how did you euthanasia the fish?

Thanks

I'm not familiar with the disease, but there are plenty of topics on euthanasia methods you can search for here. When I have a small fish (~3") that needs to be euthanized, I put them in a plastic bag, no water, and put them in the freezer. It's over quickly.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind triscuit. It still seems to long of a process and shed suffer.

Zimmy -Been treating her with Melafix & Pimafix and it seems to be clearing up some of the Ulcers. So maybe it isn't TB afterall, but we have been treating it like it is. I read it was risky to humans. Thanks.

I don't know what symptoms you're seeing but in addition to the melafix and pimafix do daily or every other day partial water changes of 30% for the next week. Siphon the gravel, too and make sure you use a good quality dechlorinator.
