One of my Polits has been holding for a few days. I have tried to catch her the past couple of days so I finally removed all rocks and caught her today.

Stripped her of about 12 light brown and slightly oblong eggs. Tumbling away now.

We'll see how this goes! opcorn:

My poor cyn. lion has to dig his love cave all over again though since I moved everything out.

The polits are doing great. Tumbled them and didn't lose a single egg. Moved all 12 to a breeder net in my 10g fry tank. Cleaned the fry tank today and squished a polit (I have since tightened the net).

The Cyn. Lion eggs all went white and fuzzy. Probably just infertile first try. I'll probably let this pair try again and wait a couple weeks to strip to see if that helps them get the groove going.

My kids are fascinated by this process and come in and just sit on my floor staring at all the fry. I have probably 60 pearly ocellatus fry in my fry tank too.

Good to hear. My little ones are the same way. Have to admit im really into it myself. :wink:
