Hi All,

So I have a pair, now a breeding pair, of Neolamprologus leleupi in a mixed Malawi-Tang tank. It is their first batch of fry and I have seen four. I do not know how many are in the cave they dug under a piece of driftwood. I do not see how I can get the nippers out either.

So how good are leleupi as parents? How long will they let the nippers stay in the cave? How often will the parents typically breed?

I think I will plant the area heavily so the young-uns can have places to hide if evicted.

Thanks for any insights.
