I have a 50g lowboy
Stocking
9 adult neolamprologus multifasciatus
5-6 larger fry
25ish small fry
4 adult julidochromis marlieri
a couple larger fry
1 bristlenose

4 white cloud minnows
and 3 cyprichromis fry I'm growing out for my other tank.
(These won't be in the tank long term)

Would a single SunSun 303b be enough filtration for this tank?
I have a cheap walmart air pump I connected to two airstone I can switch out for sponge filters.

If those wouldn't be enough I have an aquaclear 50 I can add on as well, but rather not if I dont need it.

303b flows 275 gph which is a little low; it will only be turning the water over 5 times per hour. If you run the sponges you should be fine though. I run a 304b on my 55 which flows 525 gph and it keeps the tank very clean and clear.

The 303b is 370gph which is closer to 7.5x turn over.

If you have not bought the SunSun filter yet. Then I would say go with an Eheim
