I recently bought 6 juvie Hongi. I put the in my large tank with all my other adult fish. One came up killed right away. Then I noticed one was chasing all the others. Then other dead. This is all within a week or two. Then I could only find two in the tank. One is missing in action. The smaller one of the remaining two was being picked on so I removed it.

I have a grow out fry tank small juvie Cobalt zebras, Perlmutts, Jalo Reef. Do you thin I should dare put him in there or keep in isolation. I have no idea they were such fiesty little buggers!

You could try him in the grow out tank assuming he is about the same size as the others. But if you are giving up on the hongi (yes they are aggressive, I would do 1m:7f or more) why not rehome him?

I'm not sure you really know what is going on here, I find it hard to believe that juveniles are literally killing each other in a 125 gallon tank. Do you know the sexes of the juveniles? Are you sure they were healthy?
