Now my male Melanochromis auratus suddenly turned into the bully. He was chasing the female which I expect to be a normal mating stuff. He was also chasing all the other male (non Melanochromis auratus) . So I put the male in an isolation tank. I've read having 2 females to one male of the same species helps reduce the aggression. I don't have space to add another Female Melanochromis auratus. I guess I need to get rid of one. based on the other fish that are in my signature (they are all males). Should I keep the male or female auratus? Which one has a better chance of survival living with all the other fish I have? I actually like the male better. If I get rid of the female would that make him less aggressive to the other males?
Thanks,
John

In an all-male or mostly male tank, removing the female will result in less aggression overall.
