I noticed a female Kitumba holding eggs that were obviously growing
so I transferred her to a ten gallon alone, in the process she droped 8 eggs
in the ten gallon. My question is did I do the right thing? and will the eggs she
dropped still hatch?

Well, this is a matter of opinion. :D My opinion is that no, that wasn't the best thing to do.

First, cyps are a schooling fish and are not going to be happy when separated from the school.
Next, cyps hold for three weeks or so, and you'll have better survival of fry if you let her hold to term.

Your goal seems to be breeding and raising fry, so I would suggest stripping the next female that holds at 21 days. It can be done quickly, safely, and humanely when the fry are ready to get out. Separating females is stressful for them, and so is stripping. So, it's a matter of preference and not necessarily a moral choice as some would make it.
