Do not know how often this occur but my 6 in eyebiter is not eatting the feeders i put in. Armt they known to be one of the most predatory cichlids? What can I do to get her more predatorial...and yyes we know its not necessary for them but lets face it......its cool

We don't offer our d. compressiceps feeders. Instead we use them for population control and they do a very good job of it. So good we need to remove holding females if we want to keep the fry.

The tank has 3 kitumba fronts, some peacocks. a trout cichlid, a red empress, an electric blue. Everyone is eating NLS thera a large 3 mm, I feed them one or twice a day

If the fish are well fed with pellets, what is the motivation to chase feeders? If you want them to chase feeders, don't feed them for several days. Of course poseidons is correct, store bought feeders are a great source for giving your fish diseases.
