some where on this forum i read if your fish has a bruise, gash, scratch, etc. u can use epsom salt in the tank water along with water changes is that true?

i read epsom salt as a gH booster, and natural laxative.

i read melafix for bruises n stuff

thanx nicholas316 just wondering my Metriaclima estherae (Blue), ( i think ) has recently gotten all banged up. i moved them 2 a new 55 gal. and had the coral ornament to close to the entrance of his castle and when he darts about to defend his territory i'm pretty sure he banged hisself that way. well i added salt and raised the temp. slightly, also did a water change. seemed to help any advice for when they scratch & bang themselves up. 1st time in 2 yrs. haven't had to deal with this yet.
