The bad luck in the fish room continues. My 75g with K.Xinguiensis came down with Ich last Wednesday. I immediately started with Ich-X daily with required daily water changes. Unfortunately I’ve lost 4 of 6 Krobia and I’m not hopeful on the last 2. Weirdly the tetras and cories have been perfectly fine through the whole episode with few spots to start and quickly shedding them.

One Krobia still has spots, but it’s the last fish I’ve seen with any signs. My question is how long would you continue treating after last sign, and when is safe to add fish. The bottle says 3 days, but that seems too soon. My biggest concern with new fish is that I’m planning on replacing the Krobia, but they seemed to be super sensitive to the Ich. The fact I’ve seen very little Ich on other fish concerns me that they aren’t a good sign of an Ich infestation and I could be adding new fish to a low level Ich infestation.
