I recently purchased a young Electric Blue Jack Dempsey and he has inspired me to turn yet another one of my planted guppy tanks into a cichlid tank!

I saw some Electric Blue Rams at my favorite local exotics-only store (birds, reptiles and fish) and I am very tempted to get one...

What do you all think of these new Rams? Anyone want to share their thoughts/experiences with them?

Also, my pH is 6.8 out of the tap and in the tank and I would rather not mess with it... Will this be acidic enough for the Ram?

They are pretty unreal looking, and as such come with a hefty price tag. I saw some at my LFS and took some pictures on my phone and was actually just about to start a post about them until I saw this one

the 6.8ph for rams would be perfect. and i think electric blue fish are awesome.....so go for it!
