Who has experience with having eels in an African cichlid tank? We were thinking of getting a few but we weren't sure how they'd fair.

Depends on the eels, and depends on the cichlids. Which eels are you thinking of, and what species of cichlids do you have?

There are eels in Lake Tanganyika, but I don't know that they've ever been exported for the aquarium trade. :fish:

There are a ton of them in the hobby, and they've been bred a number of times in Europe too.

Really? I've never seen them anywhere. Personally, eels creep me out.
