Ok, I bought a new 250 gallon setup a couple months ago. I have two Fluval G6 filters, which is about 320 gallons of filtration, and I plan on adding a sump filter eventually. Anyway, I have two very small EBJDs, I think both are females. I was wanting to know whats a good tankmate for them. I thought some german blue rams would look good with them, but dont know if they are tough enough to hang with a jack. Would they work or should I look for something else. I want the EBJDs to be the center of attention for the tank, but I want the tankmates to have some color too. I dont want any tankmates that get huge either, would like for them to stay in the 3-5 inch range if possible. thanks.

Not sure about the rams either but ebjd aren't near as aggressive as regular jacks so it may work. A friend of mine his with cons and rainbows and they do great.

I have some cons in another tank with a normal jack, and they have torn his fins up a couple times, so they arent an option for this tank. Rainbows however... hmmm, just might work. I am gonna have to check them out. thanks for your help cichlidsrule16.
