I have a 90 gallon community tank populated with angelfish, Bolivian Rams, glowlite tetras, rummynose tetras, endler's livebeareres, etc.

The tank has been running for years, the ph is 7.4 and the tank is heavily planted with cryps, anubias, java fern and java moss. I also perform 25% weekly water changes.

I've had 2 rummynose die of dropsy within the last 6 months. I haven't added any new rummynoses for at least 5 years. Should I be concerned, or are fish near the end of their lifespans more susceptible to dropsy?
