so i was gonna take a trip down to my local beach to get some driftwood for my fresh water tank

and i was wondering what do i need to do to get it ready for my tank and do i need to weigh down the wood with rocks

soak, bleach & boil for a couple hours.

sorry meant to say bleach, then soak in water with a dechlorinator for several hours maybe even repeat.
